I have been practicing law for over 39 years. In 1988, I launched the first of five successful campaigns for the post of District Attorney for Webb and Zapata counties. Upon winning the election at the age of 34, I became the youngest elected district attorney in the history of the district. I was re-elected for four more terms and served as District Attorney a total of twenty years. My experience as a prosecutor as well as a defense attorney afford me the ability to advocate for you in a way few others can.
